Objective

The objective of the course is to familiarize students with the use and programming of programmable logic devices. Upon completing the course, the student will:
- understands the fundamentals of digital technology design.
- familiar with the structures and typical applications of various programmable logic devices.
- understands the design principles of control systems related to machine safety.
- can use programming languages compliant with IEC standards to create logic programs.
- can install and connect components related to the system.
- can design and implement control systems for various processes using programmable logic.
