Objective
The course covers the basics of energy technologies and systems. The student will understand the functioning of the energy technical equipment and systems as well as their design principles and energy efficiencies.

- Pump technology
- Power plants and renewable energy
- Internal combustion engines.
Note, the content of the study course can vary in different years, so one or more of the above topics can be replaced by e.g. the following topics:
- battery technology and energy storage
- hydrogen economy and technology
- heat pumps and refrigeration machines
