Objective
The student is familiar with the construction methods, structures and building materials of different periods, their damage types and correction methods. The student is also able to perform building condition assessment.
Content
The course focuses on how construction renovation differ from new construction. Learn about the age structure of buildings and the typical risk structures as well as the aging phenomena of buildings and materials.
