The online music pedagogy specialist training is aimed at music professionals, instrument and vocal teachers, perceiving music teachers, performing musicians, music teachers at schools and cantors. At the core of the education is the development of technology-assisted operating methods and pedagogical operating models for professional needs arising from one's own working life. Students acquire theoretical knowledge of pedagogical operating models and become familiar with the latest research on online pedagogy. The training focuses on the key applications of delay-free audio transmission in music work, the use of digital notes and video to support learning, and copyright perspectives in the work of a music professional.

Online pedagogical skills of a music professional 2, 15 ECTS

- multi-camera work in teaching
- making, recording and editing multi-camera recordings
- sharing recordings
- communicating and marketing of one's own competence
- future prospects of a music pedagogue's job image: technological development, artificial intelligence, information networks and data protection
- copyright from the perspective of a music professional
Scope and duration: 30 credits 1 year
Objective
Students are able to:
- define the equipment and application configuration needed in their work
- use the equipment they need in the manner required by their work
- use the applications they need in the manner required by their work
- look for solutions to the needs arising in technology-assisted work
- develop new technology-assisted ways of working
- use recorded music and video in their work, taking copyright into account
- self-reflect and develop their work as a music professional
- share the professional competence in working life
Development
The training is carried out as a hybrid training.
The training includes:
- contact studies both on campus and online
- individual and group assignments
- independent working, including in one's own working life context
- learning assignments
- self-assessment and keeping a learning diary in accordance with the guidelines
