The students work independently with their own mentee and together communally in joint meetings..
Exam schedules
The course does not have an exam.
International connections
The course supports communal and peer learning, which is carried out as mentoring meetings and workshops. The student mentors and mentees of the mentoring program form an international group. During the course the student develop guidance and communication skills and career planning skills that are important in working life.
Student workload
3 ECTS = 81 hours that consist of
- One-on-one mentoring meetings and preparation 20h
- Joint mentoring meetings and preparing for them 10h
- Reporting and maintaining working hours 15h
- Writing a reflection diary 36h
Attendance 60% for joint meetings and 100% for one-on-one mentoring meetings.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Pass:
- The student has met their mentoring pair required amount.
- The student has participated in joint mentoring meetings.
- The student has participated in workshops.
- The student has filled in and submitted the working time report.
- The student has written and submitted the reflection diary successfully.
Fail:
- The above conditions are not met.
Content scheduling
The course is for the student mentors participating in the Mentoring Buddy programme. By completing the course contents, the student can complete study credits acting as a mentor. The course consists of participating in joint meetings of the mentoring programme, one-on-one mentoring meetings (5 pcs), and writing a short reflection diary.

- 11.1. at 16:30–18:30 Mentor training
- 18.1. at 16:30–18:00 Orientation and mentoring pair meeting
- 15.2. at 16.30–18.30 Interim meeting (topic to be specified)
- 18.3. at 16:30–18:30 Closing meeting
The student and the mentee independently agree on mentoring meetings according to their own schedules. There must be 5 mentoring meetings during the program.
The joint meetings are arranged remotely or hybridly. The links will be found in Itslearning.
