Objective

The course supports the development of the student's academic and professional Finnish language skills during his/her studies or in working life. The aim is that the student
- recognizes his/her strengths and development areas as a learner of Finnish language
- is able to prepare oral and written outputs in Finnish required for his/her studies and working life
- can work on oral and written outputs based on the feedback received.

Content

The student works on different assignments related to student's own higher education studies or working life. The student learns to identify different types of text and to produce texts or presentations required for studies and working life. In addition, the student practices vocabulary and grammatical structures according to his/her own needs.

Qualifications

Participation in the course requires at least proficiency level B1 in Finnish.
