Introduction to digitalisation and digital transformation.
IoT, AI, AR, VR, Big Data, Cloud Services and other digital technologies.

Note: there exists the course TT00BG06 Introduction to Digitalisation (5 ECTS). If you have taken that course already you should not participate in this course!

Materials

Material (videos, articles, etc) from the internet, is available via the learning environment.

Teaching methods

Online collaboration in the learning environments and independent self-study and working with assignments.
Tests are used for each studied subject to verify students' learning outcomes.

International connections

The course provides an understanding of digital technologies.
Students work both individually and collaborate virtually in the learning environment.
Students read material and watch videos and then complete automatically assessed assignments for the studied subjects.

Personal work: self-study and assignments: 60 hours
- discussions about selected videos
- exercises about subjects related to digitalisation

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Approved:
Student has completed all the course assignments
AND achieved at least 50% of the points in the assignments.
