Osaamistavoitteet

This course aims to give students further knowledge after the basic studies in Finnish. The course focuses on understanding sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of everyday and working life, especially in business. After completing the course, the student is able to: read and understand information, directions and instructions in everyday material, also in working life context understand and participate in everyday conversation (e.g. family, studies, personal interests) describe in writing various aspects of everyday life, studies, personal experiences and current events understand and participate in simple conversation in working life situations comprehend the main points of short, simple announcements and messages write messages and basic formal letters describe their educational background and current studies; deliver a basic, prepared presentation on a general, familiar subject
