Objective
The student is able to take an active role in a projectThe student is able to communicate and negotiate project requirements (project deliverables, project outcomes) with the customer and the project teamThe student is able to meet the deadlines and requirements set by and with the customerThe student is able to undertake market research, search and find relevant data, analyze data, and provide credible suggestions regarding the customer’s internationalization’s strategyThe student is able to communicate the suggestions developed by the project team to the customer in a professional manner
Content
The main tasks related to this project are likely to be the following:Identifying and contacting SME’s in the Turku region which are looking to internationalize their products/servicesAgreeing with a company (customer) about the deliverables and deadlines/milestonesIdentifying and gathering the data needed to perform the required tasksAnalyzing the data and assessing the different options (and the likely benefits, drawbacks and risks each option entails)Presenting the results to the customerNB:Each project team works with an assigned coach and have weekly meeting with the coach. The courses International Marketing, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and International Sales provides the students with the needed knowledge and skills to perform this project/are used as support courses for this project
