Objective

The students understand the functioning of different kinds of economies and their effect on business and trade. The students also become aware of the reasons for economic fluctuations and the development behind them. Economic environment is analysed as an essential part in a generic business environment. The study unit increases the students' awareness of the development and different aspects in international economy. Connections between domestic and international business are discussed.
