Objective

This course aims to provide an overview of the new product/service development process starting in front-end innovation and ending in the release phase. It will give the students a deep understanding in how a service or product is conceptualized and finally launched to the market.
After completing the course the student
- understands the new product or service development process and the role of different kind of innovations to business development
- knows the different innovation models and their specific features
- is able to use the different models for business development and concept/new product and service creation
- is able to understand the linkages between the company strategy, leadership and effective innovation management
- is able to create working environments and cultures that inspire people for innovation development
- understands the importance of successful adoption of diffusion of innovations
