Basics of building constructionLaajuus (3 cr)

Objective

The aim is to learn the basic concepts and key nomenclature of house building and to know the different types of buildings, building parts and the usual building materials. The student will learn the official drawing markings of detached houses.
Students are familiar with the government regulations on construction and the content of building regulation collections.
The student understands the importance of the function of thermal and humidity technology in the physics design of buildings. The student also understands the importance of energy-efficient design.
