Objective

Upon completion of the course the student will be able to
- outline methods, techniques and means of expression in character animation
- deepen their skills and knowledge of character animation
- develop their own expression through their studies

Content

This course introduces the practice of character animation. Through exercises you will gain an understanding of the nature of the work of a character animator. The focus is on how to convey a story and emotion to the audience through the character and its movement. The course will also include physical and perceptual exercises. The course will develop personal expression, independent work and the ability to receive and give feedback.
