Objective

After completing this study unit, the student will be able to:
-  explain the different stages of the purchasing process -  use cost analyses -  compare quotations -  use and explain Incoterms 2010 -  utilize the sources of information necessary for purchasing -  describe various indicators measuring purchasing operations -  prepare for purchasing negotiations -  explain the similarities and differences of purchasing in different forms of business
