Objective

During the studies of operations management, the student will expand his/her knowledge about company processes. The student will be able to plan, manage and develop the production processes of goods and services, from both technical and economical point of view.After completing the course the student will be able to describe the basics of the product development process. The student can name and use tools and theories (LEAN etc) for planning, managing and developing the production system. The student can also implement quality management in production. The student masters the main objectives, methods and performance indicators of production.The student is able to discuss the different levels of production management and operations, and he/she can introduce ways to enhance the productivity. The student is able to assess the interdependencies between production and business.
