Objective
Student
• practises the planning, implementation and assessment of customer-oriented care and guidance (e.g. the care of persons with disabilities and persons with intellectual disabilities, home care, home hospital, etc.) in public and private care institutions and at the Sun klinikka clinic.
• is able to help and support different people in sudden and long-term health changes and is aware of the limits of their own resources and competences
• knows how to plan and implement health-promoting guidance
• can establish a good care relationship in different work environments
• knows how to work in multidisciplinary work groups
• applies evidence-based knowledge and uses it in nursing work and its development
• advances their competence in pharmacotherapy in different areas of nursing (Medication Passport)
• depending on the possibilities, learns more about the special features of acute care, maternity care, nursing of children, young people and families, long-term medical care, medical surgical nursing, mental health and psychiatric nursing, nursing of persons with disabilities, nursing of the elderly, palliative nursing and terminal care clinical nursing
Content
Designing, implementing, evaluating and recording the process of evidence-based nursing
·Practical training in key nursing activities according to the learning environment and the needs of patients/customers
·Practicing the basics of patient resourceful guidance with the patient/client and his/her family member
·Knowledge of the structure of the social and health care system and practice of service guidance with the client/patient and his/her relative
·Deepening the Foundation of Medical Care
