Objective

After completing the course, the student will be able to:

• identify the importance of age- and memory-friendly housing and living environments for the well-being, functionality and safety of the older people
• assess the factors and areas affecting the age- and memory-friendliness of housing and living environments for the older people
• utilize assessment information, current practices and strategic partnerships to promote the age- and memory-friendliness of housing and living environments for older people, and support the development of new housing solutions for the ageing population
