Content
The course includes a one-month theory phase (remote lectures, preparatory assignments and independent study) followed by a one-week hands-on intensive period in Turku.
Topics include:
Fundamentals and components of PV systems, small-scale system design and dimensioning, development of utility-scale solar power plants, business models, installation and measurement exercises, PV module production and quality control, site visits to solar factories and installation sites, use of simulation tools (e.g. PVSyst, PVGIS).
