Objective

Advanced emergency care 8 crThe students- know how to independently conduct a clinical examination of an acutely ill or injured patient, and the interview pertaining to it- master the safe use of various examination instruments and medication equipment- increase their competence in making a correct working diagnosis to guide treatment, and rehearse their skills in deciding on the emergency care for a patient and in starting it, and are able to professionally motivate their solutions- increase their knowledge and skills in defining the medical risks of a patient and the urgency of transport- are able to decide not to transport the patient and to qualify their decision, after examining the patient and giving them emergency care, in cases where the patient’s status does not presuppose hospitalisation- increase their knowledge and skills of medication in emergency care situations (medication passport)- are able to guide and support the patient’s family in an emergency care situations outside the hospital- are capable of acting and studying collaboratively in a group in an entrepreneurial setting- increase their medication skills- master the documentation of patient care
