Objective

After completing the course, the student will:

Understand the functioning of different machines and equipment in general and be able to use them for their own needs while considering their chosen sustainability perspective.
-Identify various threads and needles and select appropriate materials for their project while considering their sustainability perspective.
-Utilize their creativity in designing and implementing details for their project while considering their needs and chosen sustainability perspective.
-Recognize different fasteners and select the appropriate fastener for their project while considering their chosen sustainability perspective.

The students work with various materials and accessories, such as specialty machines, needles, threads, and different fasteners. Additionally, the course covers various topics such as sustainability, recycling, and creativity. The student creates a product according to their own sustainability concept at their skill level.

Objective

On completion of the course, the student will
- understand the main characteristics of different fibres and be able to choose the most appropriate one for their own needs, taking into account the sustainability aspect of their choice
- identify different types of fibres, materials and their properties and be able to choose the right materials to use in their own projects, taking into account the sustainability aspect
- know about new fibre innovations, recycled fibres and other ecological materials

Content

The students will familiarize themselves with textile testing equipment, textile sorting, and various types of fibers. Additionally, the course will cover diverse topics such as responsibility, recycling, and innovation.
