Objective

SPECIAL ISSUES IN PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING 5 cr TERIObjectives: The student shall be able to-assess and support the resources of people and families of different ages and prevent risks and disturbances to health, safety and social development- analyse various client-oriented methods in public health nursing- improve his or her knowledge in addressing issues and early intervention as well as in evaluating the need for guidance and treatment- improve his or her knowledge of different group work methods and guide peer groups- work with the management of special issues at community and individual level in co-operation with a multidisciplinary expert group, and use his or her knowledge about the influence of the environment on the health of the community- improve his or her knowledge in public health nursing of special needs groups- improve his or her competences in medicinal treatment

- special issues relating to different age groups- special issues relating to families with children and adolescents, such as early interaction, LGBT families, disturbances in child's speech development, child abuse, early intervention and addressing
