Pedagogiset toimintatavat ja kestävä kehitys

This course gives understanding how to be a team member in customer projects in ICT field as well as substance knowledge of different ICT field -related topics. Students will team up for a project work on real customer projects related to ICT field. Real customer projects develop students’ real working life skills (among others: team working, communication, time management, professional attitude and taking responsibility) and problem solving skills.
Project teams are usually international and the official communication language is usually English. This develops students’ ability to intercultural communication and multicultural collaboration.

Assignments: Preparing for and taking pre-assignments 10 h
Project work: Project work in customer projects 125 h
Subsequent credits (if more than 5 credits studied): 27 hours of project work / 1 credit

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet

Assignments based on reading material and specified technologies: diagnostic teacher evaluation,
instant scoring (pass/fail).
Project work is assessed (assessment criteria is specified in Optima): self and peer assessment; customer’s feedback (if available); project manager’s feedback; summative teacher’s assessment at the end of the course.
