Sisällön jaksotus

10 meetings in classroom ICT_B2026 on Thursdays from 16.30 to 18.
Starting January 23st to April 2nd (except Feb 2th).
This course is designed for exchange students. The course is a fun way to get to know Finnish language and Finnish everyday life. After the course students understand basic structures in the Finnish language and are able to cope in everyday situations.
Student will be familiar with Finnish as a language (basic features). He is able to introduce himself, ask simple questions and answer to them. The focus is in spoken language.
Introduction to Finnish, pronunciation, everyday phrases in Finnish, basic grammar; vocabulary, such as nationalities, food, colours, numbers, hobbies

Tavoitteet

This course is designed for exchange students. The course is a fun way to get to know Finnish language and Finnish everyday life. After the course students understand basic structures in the Finnish language and are able to cope in everyday situations.

Oppimateriaalit

Material provided in Optima and in class.
MATERIAL SHOULD BE PRINTED BY STUDENTS BEFORE THE FIRST LESSON!

Opetusmenetelmät

Lessons and practice in groups.
Meetings in the classroom, working in the town with an app and assignments online in Optima.
Active participation (student must attend at least 80% of the lessons) in the classroom activities, such as speaking excercises in pairs / small groups.

Oral exam on the last meeting 2.4. + re-exam if needed

Based on Innopeda - method, learning real life communication by doing.

Classroom activities + Oral exam 20 h (10 x 90 min)
Assignments in Optima: written/oral assignments, group works and research in internet, using the language in real life, independent studies 60 h.

Oral exam (0-5), oral assignments (accepted/failed) of which 2 assignments evaluated by grade 0-5
