Objective
After the international tutoring the international student tutor has:
- international experience
- international networks
- had a chance to improve language skills
Content
The international tutor guides and helps the exchange students coming to TUAS in the practical matters such as: settling to a new living and studying environments, introduces free-time activities and introduces Finnish culture. The study unit includes:
- The international student tutor training (organised 2 a year in Turku/Salo) by the International Student Services
- Tutoring the foreign exchange students and staying in contact with them throughout their stay in Finland
- Writing a report
