Preclinical Training in Child, Adolescent and Family Nursing

Objective
Students will
- Learn to perform key examination and care procedures with children and adolescents, recognise the instruments used and use the instruments appropriately and safely
- Learn to observe children and adolescents, as well as to plan, provide and evaluate individual care for children and adolescents in simulated cases.
- Learn to resuscitate a child patient in the hospital environment
- Practice guiding and interacting with children and adolescents of all ages, as well as their families, in situations related to health and illness
- Learn to safely administer pharmacotherapy and fluid therapy to child patients
