Opintojaksolla keskitytään taiteellisten tavoitteiden asettamiseen, pitkäjänteisen taiteellisen työskentelyn sekä teknisen ja taiteellisen ilmaisun kehittämiseen.

Jokainen työskentelee oman taiteellisen projektinsa parissa, jonka tueksi opiskelijat saavat viikoittaisia tehtäviä. Viikoittaiset tehtävät ovat yksilöllisiä ja rakentuvat siitä, mitä kukin on tekemässä. Tehtäviä ja taiteellista työskentelyä puretaan yhteisissä tapaamisissa Zoomissa.

Opintojaksolle osallistuvalta odotetaan osallistumista yhteisiin tapaamisiin: aktiivista kanssakäymistä ryhmässä, keskustelua ja ajatusten vaihtoa. Taiteellista työskentelyä ja työskentelypäiväkirjan pitämistä.

Opintojakson arvioinnissa kiinnitetään huomiota kykyyn asettaa taiteellisia tavoitteita ja toteuttaa niitä, kehittää työskentelyään teknisesti ja ilmaisullisesti, toteuttaa taiteellista työskentelyä pitkäjänteisesti ja tavoitteellisesti ja tarkastella työskentelyään analyyttisesti.

The course focuses on setting artistic goals, developing long-term artistic work and technical and artistic expression.

Each is working on their own artistic project, which is supported by students receiving weekly assignments. Weekly tasks are individual and build from what each is doing. Assignments and artistic working are being dismantled in joint reunions at Zoom.

Participants in the course are expected to participate in joint meetings: active interaction with the group, discussion and exchange of ideas. Artistic working and keeping a working diary.

The evaluation of the course focuses attention on the ability to set and implement artistic objectives, to develop their work in a technical and expressive manner, to carry out artistic work in a long-term and objective manner, and to analytically examine their work.

Aamupäivän kahvihetki / Morning coffee:
Lyhyt tervehdys koko porukan kesken. Sen jälkeen jokainen kertoo vuorollaan, minkälaisia tavoitteita kullakin on TI/KE työskentelyjaksolle. Tämä tehdään aina Zoomin BreakOutRoomeissa kolmen hengen ryhmissä.

Short moment with whole group. After that everybody tells what kind of plans, they have for the time to work on Tue/wed. This will be done in small groups in Zoom BreakoutRooms.

Jokainen esittelee vuorollaan koko ryhmälle viikoittaisen reaktionsa tehtävänantoon. Ryhmä antaa palautetta.

Everybody shows the response to the weekly tasks and the group will give feedback.

Objective

The students will be able to
• set goals for the artistic work
• develop the techniques and expression of their work
• carry out long-term artistic processes in a methodical and goal-oriented manner
• analyse their own work

Content

Supervised artistic work that may take place in connection with professional studies, other projects, through minor-subject studies under another degree programme or student exchange. The Artistic Work courses I–IV may be integrated into larger entities.
