Objective

After completing the course a student can:
- find him/herself a workplace in the field of his/her education
- complete work assignments together with workmates
- apply the knowledge and skills obtained during studies in work assignments
- describe the employer organization’s business idea, factors of profitability and elements of entrepreneurship
- evaluate the results of the work placement period.

Content

Getting familiar with the profession in the own field of technology.
The minimum total extent of practice included in the B.Eng. degree is 30 cr.

BEFORE the work practice period
- signing the agreement with the company (instructions and the contract is in itslearning)
DURING the work practice period
- Keep a diary and write weekly reports (7 reports per period, the template is in itslearning)
AFTER the work practice period
- Checking all of the documents (work placement agreement, Assessment form and the reports)
