Startup Journey is a 8-weeks long early-stage accelerator for teams that are ready to get serious about their startup and get it to the next level. NB! You must apply for the accelerator separately through Boost Turku website. All applicants cannot be accepted.

The Startup Journey accelerator program organized by Boost Turku is for teams who want to make their business idea a reality. Startup Journey is an early-stage startup accelerator taking place every summer. The goal of the program is to enable you and your team to take a huge step forward in your startup’s early development. This usually means creating a prototype, making a ton of testing, launching your product and getting your first round of investment.

Program time: 5th July – 27th August.
Application deadline: 3rd May – 30th May.

Tavoitteet

In the Startup Journey Accelerator, the following themes will be covered: team building, product development, marketing, legal issues, pitching, sales and other topics related to the startups. Startup Journey offers opportunities to build networks with innovative and growth-oriented businesses, teams and academic communities.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

TUAS student can get 10-15 credits, depending on the amount of work they do during the Starup Journey.
Requirements for completing the course:
• Accepted completion of the Accelerator Program
• Entrepreneurship Competence mapping done at the Yoop website: https://www.yoop.fi
• Written article of the Accelerator experience, by the team, for TALK blog: https://talk.turkuamk.fi/kategoria/yrittajyys/

Arviointimenetelmät ja arvioinnin perusteet

Approved/Failed.
Evaluation will be done after succesfully completing the Startup Journey Accelerator, and the given assignments by TAUS (Yoop Competence Mapping, written article).
