In the context of good scientific practice, fraud refers to the fabrication of fabricated findings, the criticism of findings, plagiarism and theft. Fraud is also a disregard for good scientific practice. It may take the form of belittling other actors, negligent and / or misleading reporting of research results or methods used, inadequate recording and / or retention of results and / or research material, and repeated presentation of the same results as new requirements for misleading own development and research.
Process
the possibility of fraud is suspected before the approval of the thesis or other educational institution, the matter is directed other than in accordance with this procedure, that is, partisan activities. In case of suspicion of fraud in the thesis or other approved study performance, the matter is processed in a three-stage process:
1) Written notice
2) Consultation (preliminary study)
3) If necessary, the actual investigation
The Director of Education will receive the notice, the hearing, and possibly the actual investigation. The student is informed of what he or she is suspected of. At the hearing, the director of education directs the progress of the matter to the actual investigation, it is considered justified.
The credit will be rejected if the student is guilty of fraud. Fraud may also result in an interview with the Director of Education and a written remark, which is recorded as a decision by the Director of Education. A term that is unusual in nature or if the student's continuous behavior may be expelled from the University of Applied Sciences for a limited period, by a decision of the Board of the University of Applied Sciences.
