Ohjattu harjoittelu käytännössä, vk 12-16.

Kliininen oppimistehtävä tehdään harjoittelujakson aikana ja palautetaan 24.4 mennessä Itslearningin palautuslaatikkoon.

Objective

BASICS OF NURSING, PEHA 8 ECTS

Objectives
• Students will know how to treat patients individually and respect their expertise and agency in their own lives
• Students will know how to work in compliance with the values, principles and key regulations of nursing
• Students will know the key sources of reliable data and how to apply these sources in providing patients with comprehensive care
• Students will be able to interact with patients and their family members in a professional manner
• Students will be able to participate in professional cooperation
• Students will learn how to apply the aseptic technique and how to work ergonomically in compliance with the principles of occupational and patient safety
• Students will know how the pharmacotherapy plan is applied in the process of performing pharmacotherapy
• Students will be able to assess the resources and condition of patients
• Students will be able to define patients’ needs for care and to make individual treatment plans
• Students will be able to apply common nursing assistance methods appropriately
• Students will learn how to adopt a patient-driven approach and support their resources
• Students will be able to monitor the nutrition and diets of patients and to identify any risks related to their nutrition
• Students will be able to recognize, assess and treat the pain experienced by patients
• Students will know how to perform pharmacotherapy according to the physician’s instructions and have the required dosage calculation skills
• Students will learn various modes of performing and administering pharmacotherapy
• Students will learn the reporting and documentation practices required in the patient’s treatment process
• Students will know how to use the medication passport in assessing their own pharmacotherapy skills

Kokonaistuntimäärä on 203h, joka sisältää:
- perehdytyksen 2h
- harjoittelupalautteen 2h
- jobiilin ja CV:n päivittämisen 2h
- loput tunnit (197h) ohjattua harjoittelua sovitussa harjoitteluyksikössä

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Hyväksytty suoritus edellyttää:

Ennen jakson alkua:
- CV:n laatiminen ja pitäminen aktiivisena harjoittelujakson loppuun asti
- Perehdytystunnille osallistuminen
- Yhteyden ottaminen omaan harjoitteluyksikköön viimeistään 2 viikkoa ennen jakson alkua

Jakson aikana:
- Aktiivinen opiskelu harjoitteluyksikössä
- Henkilökohtaisten tavoitteiden laatiminen harjoittelusovelluksessa
- Työvuorojen laatiminen yhdessä ohjaajan kanssa
- Väliarviointiin osallistuminen ja itsearviointi
- Oppimistehtävän tekeminen ohjeiden mukaan ja palauttaminen Itsiin jakson loppuun mennessä
- Loppuarviointiin osallistuminen ja itsearviointi
- Ohjaajan vahvistusviesti hyväksytystä harjoittelujaksosta ohjaaville opettajille


Jakson jälkeen:
- Palautetunnille osallistuminen
- Arviointi- ja aikataululomakkeiden täyttö harjoittelusovelluksessa

Evaluation methods and criteria

Asiakaslähtöinen, eettinen ja ammatillinen osaaminen,
näyttöön perustuva kliininen osaaminen,
opetus ja ohjausosaaminen,
yhteistyöosaaminen sosiaali-ja terveydenhuollon toimintaympäristöissä ja
hoitotyön kehittäminen arvioinnin kohteina.
