Having completed the course the student is able to select and use adequate methors in the development project .

Teaching methods

In the course, active and interactive learning is applied. In lectures workshops, exercises, and experiments are the key methods. Additionally, individual work on student's own research or development topic, which involves tasks related to the topic, knowledge base, research or development focus, and ethical reporting. Moreover, peer evaluation is utilised
.

International connections

The course follows Turku University of Applied Sciences' innovation pedagogical strategy, which places the student at the center. The student is an active agent and learner who, through various forms of interaction, enhances their knowledge and understanding of the subject. They learn and demonstrate their learning through various individual and group tasks.

The course aims indirectly at sustainable development, focusing on the production of reliable knowledge.
