Objective
After completing the course the student:
- understands the key features of MATLAB
- knows the basic arithmetic commands of MATLAB
- recognizes the different data types of MATLAB
- knows how variables and functions work in MATLAB
- can use the programming constructs of MATLAB
- knows about the basic data manipulation techniques in MATLAB
- understands the differences of most common plots of MATLAB

Qualifications
Previous knowledge of basics of programming is strongly advised. No previous knowledge of MATLAB is required.
