Objective

After completing the course, the student:
- knows the fundamentals of steam cycle thermodynamics
- understands the overall efficiency of power plant
- can calculate thermal efficiency of the power plant
- can calculate the energy balance of different components in the power plant cycle
- knows the specific characteristics of different power plants.
