Objective

This course aims to give students further knowledge after the basic studies in Finnish. The course focuses on understanding sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of everyday and working life, especially in business. After completing the course, the student is able to: read and understand information, directions and instructions in everyday material, also in business life context understand and participate in everyday conversation which is of direct, personal relevance (e.g. family, studies, personal interests) understand simple conversation in working life situations

Content

Contents: additional grammatical features and vocabulary reading and listening comprehensions practicements of the language both in communication and in writing written assignments both as homework and in class discussion in pairs or small groups is also included characteristics of Finnish business culture
