Objective
Students will
- Learn to apply their skills and knowledge in a practical expert assignment related to their professional studies as part of public health nursing (development) projects
- Learn to apply health and well-being strategies in the planning, implementation, assessment and development of public health nursing.
- Learn to participate in multiprofessional cooperation with experts and service users to develop products and services making use of networks and working groups
- Learn to develop their work community skills in public health nursing and its leadership and development
- Learn to recognise entrepreneurial opportunities and know how to apply entrepreneurial skills in public health nursing
- Maintain their knowledge about the latest research results and development ideas and know how to apply them in their work to promote health in their customers’ best interests
- Recognise their research, development and innovation competence and strengthen it in their expert duties related to health promotion, as well as apply their RDI competence at work
- Learn to recognise social challenges and act accordingly and to actively and innovatively develop public health nursing based on the needs of society and working life
- Learn to apply the principles of sustainable development in public health nursing
