Objective
The aim with this course is to give students required basic knowledge to understand physical phenomena and to give them tools to solve simple problems.
After the course the student understands
• Newton laws and their role in understanding statics and dynamics
• the concept of energy and energy conservation and its role in closed systems
• conservation of momentum during impacts
he/she is also able to solve simple problems using these concepts
