Shaping of teeth from wax

International connections

Pedagogiset toimintatavat pohjautuvat innovaatiopedagogiikan kulmakiviin.

Vahaveistoharjoitukset toteutuvat työelämää vastaavissa simulaatioympäristöissä, joissa opettaja valmentaa opiskelijoita työelämän tarpeita vastaavan osaamisen saavuttamisessa kontaktituntien yhteydessä. Tämän lisäksi opiskelija tekee opintojakson kuluessa harjoituksia itsenäisesti.

Opiskelijat saavat kontaktitunneilla palautetta opettajalta koko opintojakson ajan ja tämän lisäksi muiden opiskelijoiden palautetta, joka tukee opiskelijan oppimista. Tässä korostuu opiskelijan oma aktiivinen vuorovaikutus opettajan ja muiden opiskelijoiden kesken.

Student workload

4op = 108 tuntia opiskelijan työtä, josta n. puolet (50 tuntia) on kontaktiopetusta ja toinen puoli itsenäistä työskentelyä simulaatiolaboratoriossa.

Kontaktiopetus koostuu morfologiaan harjoitustöiden demoista ja niiden ohjauksesta. Työkurssilla opiskelija vahaa 8 hammasta.
