Specialization in Nursing 2 5 ECTS ERI 2A

Objectives
Students will
• Gain further proficiency in determining the need for, planning, administering and evaluating patient care
• Learn to support and provide guidance to patients and their family members
• Learn to make decisions requiring nursing expertise in cooperation with the patient and other professional groups, as well as to support the patient’s resources to promote the patient’s health
• Understand the ethics and fundamental values of nursing and base their actions on current knowledge
• Deepen their pharmacotherapy competence in different fields of nursing (medication passport)
• Master the special features of clinical nursing and related documentation

Completion alternatives

Opiskelija voi saada hyväksiluetuksi erityisosaamisen harjoittelusta (hoitotyön erityisosaaminen 1 ERI1 7 op, hoitotyön erityisosaaminen 2 ERI2 5 op + 4 op ja/tai hoitotyön erityisosaaminen 3 ERI3 8 op) enintään 24 op.
Neljä (28pv) kalenteriviikkoa vastaa 5 op, 7/8 op vastaa viittä kalenteriviikkoa.

Opiskelija anoo hyväksilukua Pepin sähköisen asioinnin kautta. Liitteenä tulee olla virallisen työtodistuksen/palvelutodistuksen kopio, josta ilmenee työsuhteen kesto, työaika, työtehtävä ja kuvaus työtehtävästä.
