Content scheduling

The subject is covered through PESTEL analysis (Political, Economic, Sociocultural, Technological, Environmental, Legal).

Among other things, these issues are discussed:
- Finnish foreign trade
- BRICS countries
- Competitive requirements in international business / preconditions for export
- Entry strategies
- Risk management
- Doing business in the EU
- Incoterms, terms of payment

Objective

After completing the course the student is able to
- distinguish between the competitive requirements in international business vs. domestic business
- evaluate market opportunities for international business
- describe various business strategies when entering and operating in international business
- understand the requirements for marketing in the international business environment
- understand cultural differences in international business
