The students will also apply advanced image processing and the basics of graphic design and printing technology. During the course, the students will learn about the requirements of the printing industry in term of image production and practise accurate digital printing. They will also learn about different printing materials and their features.
Teaching methods
Lectures, discussions, experiments, own artistic work
Content scheduling
The implementation is linked to the Documentary Work, so that each person in the Documentary Work project will produce an independent photographic work: a book, a booklet, a zine, something on paper, using Adobe's InDesign or a similar folding program. In addition to the main task, students will be given sketch-like and technical tasks to master the software. However, the main focus is on each student's own artistic work on the documentary project. The course will cover the main principles of bookbinding as well as various tasks related to image editing.
