Objective
The student is able to:
- use the key material management methods
- measuring the effectiveness of materials management
- describe the storage process
- establish an appropriate warehouse layout
- select suitable and appropriate warehousing equipment into a warehouse
- draw up a plan for the placement of items
- analyze how the cost of storage can be reduced by the use of different warehouse technologies
- describe the importance of good packaging to supply chain flexibility and efficiency
