Objective
The students deepen their Finnish language skills in such a way that they are able to participate in written and oral communication situations both in higher education studies and in working life. The students can search for information and produce clear and structured speech and writing about general and field-related topics. They can also describe their own competences. Finnish language proficiency level: B1.2–B2 (CEFR).
Content
The students expand their knowledge of different text types. They write different texts and practice also oral language skills and for example presentation skills. The course strengthens the students’ knowledge of vocabulary and essential grammatical structures through different exercises. All parts of language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking and listening) will be developed throughout the course. The course gives further skills for preparing for YKI test in B-level.
