Objective

After completing the course the student:
- understand the basics of direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) circuit calculations.
- knows the three-phase technology and common components in industrial electrical systems.
- understand the operation of electric motors and electric drives and components
- knows the principles of industrial electricity production and distribution networks.
- understand key responsibilities related to electrical safety.
- understand the principles of documentation for electrical control circuits.
- understand the structure of the industrial automation system hierarchy
