Content
Ships are complicated structures that include large variety of technical systems. Due to extreme complexity ships are designed and manufactured based on systematic and modular structure. The ship general design course covers following topics:
•systematics of the ship technology
•concept development of a ship
•ship design process
•different areas of costs calculation
•general arrangements of a ship
•selection criteria of transportation machinery
