Objective
The course develops evidence-based wound care in one's own work unit as part of the wound patient's treatment chain/network. The course will be integrated with the various wounds and their treatment principles, wound healing, its evaluation and documentation, the quality of wound care, its evaluation and effectiveness, the quality of life of the wound patient and self-care guidance study modules. The starting point in the development is multidisciplinary evidence-based knowledge of wound care, multidisciplinary cooperation and consultation between experts.
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- plan, implement and lead a working life development project by applying the principles of evidence-based action and report it as an e-poster.
- evaluate and develop their own competence and expertise in wound care, taking into account regional, national and international treatment recommendations.
- act as a consultant in the multi-professional work group of wound care.
- Communicate about wound care in a multi-professional team, regional and national cooperation and development teams.
