Content scheduling
A student will complete an internship during the year 2025. The internship focuses on essential practical tasks related to the profession, where previously acquired knowledge and skills from studies are applied. The internship can be completed either domestically or abroad. The tasks for Professional Training 3+4 must resemble the tasks of an engineer.
Objective
Harjoittelun tavoitteena on oppia omassa ammatissa käytettäviä työtehtäviä, työskentelytapoja sekä tarvittavia tietoja ja taitoja. Tavoitteena on myös tutustuttaa opiskelija organisaatioiden toimintaan ja sosiaalisiin suhteisiin sekä antaa käsitys tuottavuuden, kehittyneen toiminta-ajatuksen, kannattavuuden ja yrittäjyyden merkityksestä.
Content
The extent of the practical training is 30 ects, which corresponds to 20 weeks of working. Part of the training should be basic training usually in the area of mechanical engineering. Students must report one period of the professional training. Basic training is supervised by the school and it is approved by the degree programme manager in mechanical engineering.
