Objective
The students will be able to
• apply photographic methods of expression in their own work
• critically analyse and develop their own visual expression
• present and defend their professional choices
Content
On this course, students will focus on different ways of create and use photographs as a means of expression, study the body of work of different photographers and follow topical phenomena in the field of photography and fine arts. The students will also learn about displaying and finishing photographs from the expressive and technical perspective.

Developing and presenting your own artistic work, lectures, one-to-one meetings, preparing and delivering a presentation.

Student workload
Students will continue to work independently as artists throughout the course. Progress will be presented to the group at the mid-term meeting and at the end-of-course presentation days.
The initial meeting will introduce the general themes of the course and the demo lectures, as well as the presentation assignment.
During the course, students will have at least one face-to-face distance meeting with the tutor.
Content scheduling
The course is integrated with the Photographic Methods III course. During the course, students develop and reflect on their own expression through practical work. The focus of learning is on the promotion of the student's own artistic work.
In addition to artistic work, the course will focus on the contextualisation of photographic 'strategies', motivations and working methods. Students will learn to mirror key issues, practices and/or methods of their own work in the context of contemporary photographic and visual arts and histories.
