Description
The course introduces the main stages in the history of animation. The course includes the viewing and analysis of different animated films and an introduction to the domestic and international animation industry. In addition, the course examines current phenomena in the animation industry and sustainable development approaches in animation production.
Objective
After completing the course, the student will be able to
- form an understanding of the history of Western animation art and of the domestic and international animation industry
- take into account the traditions, themes and phenomena of the history of animation in their work
- recognise and take into account health and safety and environmental aspects
- reflect aesthetically and ethically on their expressive choices
- actively follow and analyse regional, national and international animation phenomena and independently acquire information on animation phenomena and artists that support pupils' reflection on their own expression.
People attending the course are committed to join the weekly meetings.
