• Syöpäpotilaan oireenmukainen hoito (lääkkeellinen ja lääkkeetön hoito)
• Syöpä, parisuhde ja seksuaalisuus
• Syöpäpotilaan kuntoutus ja seuranta
• Syöpäpotilaan psykososiaalinen tuki
• Solunsalpaajien turvallinen käsittely ja työturvallisuus, infuusioportti
• Kipulääkkeet ja kipupumpun käyttö

Objectives
• Students will understand cancer as a disease and identify the factors related to early diagnosis and prevention of cancer
• Students will know different methods of treating and monitoring cancer how common types of cancer are diagnosed
• Students will know how to provide cancer patients with symptomatic and humane nursing services
• Students will know how to perform safe pharmacotherapy and how to pay attention to their personal occupational safety
• Students will know how to support and guide the functional capacity, well-being and quality of life of cancer patients and how to work with customers and their family members as a member of a multiprofessional team

• Lifestyles as a means of supporting recovery from cancer
• Rehabilitation and monitoring of cancer patients
• Psychosocial support of cancer patients
• Safe cytostatic therapy and occupational safety, infusion port
