Siemens Xcelerator harjoitukset

Objective

After a completed study unit the student
- has a grasp of the theoretical basis of the finite element method in structural mechanics, and
- can use finite element analysis software in the analysis of structures.

Content

- line structures: frame structures, trusses, steel beam structures

- surface structures: thin sheet metal structures, pressure vessels, shell constructions

- solid structures: 3D solid pieces, assemblies

- vibration mechanics, buckling, thermal stresses, and other special issues in structural mechanics.

Student workload

Kurssin tuloksellinen suorittaminen vaatii matematiikan ja aikaisempien lujuusopin kurssien tietosisältöjen hallitsemista. Oppilaan on itse huolehdittava näiden asioiden mahdollisesta kertaamisesta.
Luennot tutustutaan vain keskeisiin asioihin. Kurssin asioiden syvällinen hallitseminen vaatii opiskelijalta omaehtoista tutustumistan ohjelman harjoitustöihin
